Sun tanning is a challenge for the skin. No sunscreen is able to provide 100% protection from the sun’s radiation. With this in mind, I formulated an after-sun oil. It soothes and restores the sun-damaged epidermis, alleviates irritation, prevents dryness and wrinkle formation.
The oils in this product are carefully selected, cold-pressed natural oils and certified USDA organic. Other components are herbal CO2 extracts. They are produced by extracting substances from herbs using carbon dioxide gas, which avoids the use of aggressive chemical solvents and high temperatures. This environmentally friendly technique preserves the unique healing properties of the herbs.
The following ingredients are in the after-sun oil:
Rice bran oil - high in antioxidant vitamin E and essential fatty acids. It restores the protective skin barrier, moisturizes, and enhances skin elasticity. As a result, regeneration of damaged skin is improved and wrinkle formation is reduced.
Brazil nut oil - has lots of vitamin A, C, E and PP. This oil is very effective in alleviating irritation and redness , helping to restore the skin after exposure to the sun.
Pumpkin seed oil - relieves skin irritation and facilitates regeneration of damaged tissue.
Buckthorn CO2 extract - extremely powerful antioxidant and a rich source of vitamins. This oils is indispensable for regeneration and treating photoaging.
Calendula CO2 extract - has antioxidant, anti-inflammatory, soothing and rejuvenating properties.
Lavender CO2 extract - known for its soothing and smoothing effects. It also helps the skin renew its epidermal layer.
All ingredients are thoughtfully selected so that the overall effect of the mixture is greater than the sum of the effects of each component separately. This is called synergy – when components not only add their own property to the final product, but also enhance the properties of other components.
The product is quickly absorbed by the skin and does not leave an uncomfortable oily layer. It has a gentle lavender fragrance and is suitable for application on both face and body skin.
